We were down in Switzerland this past Sunday watching the tour and we camped along the side of the road on near the top of the Cat 2 climb (less than 1 km from the top banner). After waking up and climbing the mountain that morning, we hung our bikes up on the pop up. I must have had about 140-150 people ask me questions about my bike between 10 am and 4 pm. And of course I gave them your information. I wish I would have had business cards. What a nice riding machine. I can’t wait to race it.

Since 1 year I'm riding my ZION now and love it, finally i found the perfect bike for my numerous 24 hour races. After 4000Km it still looks like brand new and it withstands hard crashes much better then i do ;o) Titanium is just the best material for a hardtail and lasts forever and I’m maybe the only 1 yet in Luxembourg who owns a ZION. like I use to say: Every banana rides a carbonbike by now, so be different, because only dead fish swim with the flow!!

I've ridden everything from old 531 steel, to the TVT Carbon. This VN Euros is the best bike yet, and arguably the finest bike I have ever ridden. Perfectly balanced, smooth, light and responsive, stiff where it matters (bottom bracket), but absorbs minor road bumps very nicely - much more comfy than Aluminum, and not as spongy as Carbon. I absolutely love it. It makes me want to get out and just ride. Especially in the hills where it climbs well, and descends even better. I hope it lasts forever.

all that is said about Ti frames is true -- the euros is so much smoother and more comfortable than the steel bike. Even with narrower tyres and a radially-laced front wheel the Euros is really comfortable. The quality of the workmanship is also very high. Sinds begin april ben ik de trotse eigenaar van een VN Zephyr. I am a recent convert to the Van Nicholas brand having decided that I didn't like the ride of my Carbon framed bike so Ti was the only way to go. I ride the Van Nicholas Blaze and I can honestly say that it is the best bike I've ever ridden in 21 years of competing in triathlons. It helped me to post my fastest 40k triathlon bike split of 58 minutes in this years World (Age group) Triathlon Championships in Vancouver, Canada. Titanium is definitely the way forward - it's light, responsive and fast! My sons have just started competing in triathlons and they are looking forward to the day when they, too can ride a Van Nicholas! Here's a picture of us with our favourite bike.
