Late October, in The Netherlands. It has been raining daily for almost a full week now. A scenario we had been fearing when we were planning the second edition of our Van Nicholas ‘come ride with us’ Social Ride.

It didn’t take very long to realise that during the latest edition of the Van Nicholas ‘Come Ride With Us’ event in Valkenburg.
An elite group of brave souls turned up to face the cold, wind and rain that was predicted for our first social ride of the year. With nearly 2000 meters of climbing it was never going to be an easy day but the weather did its ultimate best to make it even harder.
In the scenic town of Valkenburg, May marked the arrival of a highly anticipated new edition of our social ride. This time it was time for some gravel again.
