Van Nicholas is always working to improve the quality and cost of shipping for our customers. For this reason, shipping rates and policies are subject to change without notice.

All available shipping options and your exact shipping charges (and any applicable taxes) will be shown in your shopping cart after you enter your shipping and billing information.

Please verify the accuracy of your shipping address before placing your order. An additional shipping charge will be applied if we have to re-ship an item because of an address error.

Van Nicholas will NOT ship products to a P.O. Box address.

Shipping upgrades do not apply to items that are back-ordered at the time your order is placed. Saturday delivery is an additional charge. 

An estimated shipping date will be reflected on the Order Status page within one business day after you place your order. Please note that this date is not guaranteed and can change without notice.

Upon shipment, you will receive an e-mail with your shipping confirmation and tracking number (if applicable). Van Nicholas does not guarantee the arrival date or time of your package. Please contact the respective shipping company with your tracking number for specific details as to estimated delivery time, or if you have other questions concerning the delivery of your package.

Your government may impose import duties, tariffs, taxes, or other importation fees on shipments from outside your country. Van Nicholas will NOT be responsible for any taxes, duties, tariffs, or importation fees levied by countries outside the European Community on products shipped to its customers. These charges are separate from Van Nicholas shipping charges and are beyond our control or ability to predict in advance. These charges (if any) are your sole responsibility.

In the event a customer refuses to pay these fees, or refuses to take possession of a shipment, which has been shipped in good faith to a customer outside of the European Community, the customer shall be solely responsible for all costs associated with the return of the shipment to Van Nicholas. The customer further agrees that these expenses will be deducted from any refund due them upon the safe return of the shipment. If these expenses are in excess of the refund due, the difference will be charged to their original credit card.

In no event, will Van Nicholas be responsible for import duties, tariffs, taxes, or other importation fees incurred by its customers regardless of the reason for the return of an item.

Van Nicholas is required by law to declare an accurate monetary value on all International shipments. We are unable to honour any requests to suppress the value of an order on the customs declaration or declare the order as a ‘gift’.
